FOXTAM DIN 48, 72, 96mm ANALOGUE METERS

The Foxtam Controls range of Din standard analogue meters are available as 48mm, 72mm and 96mm. The moving iron ammeters are fitted with the British standard x6 overload scale. However x5, x2 and no overload options are also readily available. The range, as standard, are supplied with 90° movements, 240° movements are also available to order. DESCRIPTION

Din 72mm & 96mm analogue meters that are genuinely IP65 sealed, both from the front and also sealed to the panel via a gasket. The front seal is achieved by sealing the glass into the plastic bezel, whilst the adjusters for the adjustable red pointer, along with the zero adjuster are fitted into the glass with o-ring seals.

Ammeters are stocked in Din 72mm (Din 96mm on request) direct connected 2 Amps, 3 Amps, 4 Amps, 5 Amps, 6 Amps, 8 Amps, 10 Amps, 15 Amps, 20 Amps and 25 Amps. Also stocked are 5 Amps movement meters driven from a 5 Amp secondary current transformer (1 Amp secondary on request) and a corresponding scale will be fitted to match the current transformers primary. All ammeters have x6 overload movements and are fitted with the adjustable red pointer as standard. (On Request these can be supplied without)

Voltmeters are stocked in both Din 72mm and 96mm 0-500VAC. As standard they are not supplied with the adjustable red pointer option. (ARP available on request if required).

All meters are supplied as a kit which includes the IP65 panel gasket and a terminal cover.

DESCRIPTION

Foxtam Controls Phase Sequence Indicators (P .S.I) are suitable for a range of applications to indicate both the presence of all three phases and the correct sequence of those phases.

Incorrect phase connection will often cause serious damage to the motors of compressors, pumps, gen-sets, heating and ventilation equipment. Mobile generators, remote installations and shore to ship supplies are most vulnerable to such hazards and are, therefore, ideal applications for the Foxtam range.

The absence of a phase is indicated by a neon to identify the missing phase. The presence of all three phases in the correct sequence is indicated by the white neon. Incorrect phase sequence is indicated by a red neon.
