An attractive modern designed thermistor relay in a din rail mounted modular style housing .The units are supply voltage selectable via the connection of different terminals. On the connection of the supply voltage the two LEDs illuminate green and the output relay will energise. Should the PTC sensor embedded within the motor windings resistance rise above 3.3 KOhms due to a rise in motor temperature the output relay will de-energise and one of the LEDs will illuminate orange. Once tripped the motor temperature would have to cool sufficiently for the resistance to drop below 1.8 KOhms to allow the output relay to re-energise again. The fixed tripping and reset values are industry recognised acceptable values.

Thermistor monitoring relays, available in either a din rail or 8 & 11 pin plug in housing SPCO (N/O in the din rail housing). The relays will monitor a series circuit of up to 6 thermistors having a total "healthy" resistance not exceeding 1500 Ohms, the output relay will be energised indicated also by a red LED. Should overheating occur the individual resistance of a thermistor will rapidly rise above 3.3 KOhms at which point the normally energised relay will de-energise, accompanied by the red LED extinguishing. In the event of a short circuit or auxiliary supply loss the unit will de-energise.

Thermistor monitoring relays, available in either a din rail or 11 pin plug in housing SPCO with a DPCO option in the din rail housing. The relays will monitor a series circuit of up to 6 thermistors having a total "healthy" resistance not exceeding 1500 Ohms, the output relay/s will be energised indicated also by a red LED. Should overheating occur the individual resistance of a thermistor will rapidly rise above 3.3 KOhms at which point the normally energised relay/s will de-energise, accompanied by the red LED extinguishing. In non latched mode (the link between terminals Y1 & Y2 or pins 7 & 8 is left open) the relay/s will re-energise when the circuit resistance drops below 1.8 KOhms. In latch mode (the link between terminals Y1 & Y2 or pins 7 & 8 is closed) the unit can be reset when this closed link is opened, provided the circuit resistance is below 1.8 KOhms. In the event of a short circuit or auxiliary supply loss the unit will de-energise.

The relay will monitor a series circuit of up to 6 thermistors having a total "healthy" resistance not exceeding 1500 Ohms, the output relay will be energised indicated also by a red LED. Should overheating occur the individual resistance of a thermistor will rapidly rise above 3.3 KOhms at which point the normally energised relay will de-energise, accompanied by the red LED extinguishing, at which point the relay will be "latched off". In this latched condition the YWR2TC7 will not reset when the thermistor cools down and will not be reset by removing and re-applying the auxiliary supply. In order to reset the YWR2TC7 the auxiliary supply must be on, the thermistors cold, then the front reset button can be operated or the remote reset input activated to re- energise the relay. In normal "no fault" operation the relay will energise on the connection of the auxiliary supply.
