Din rail mounted or 8 & 11 pin plug in SPCO and DPCO “mains restoration auto restart relays”. The voltage and supply sensing built into these units are designed to sense voltage dips and momentary loss of supply referred to as “Brown Outs”. This phenomena is a particular threat in the water industry and regularly occurs at remote pumping locations, especially during electrical storms. Left unchecked, a supply dip can “lock out” all or part of a control system, causing system malfunctions over a wide area necessitating engineers’ site visits, just to reset and restart a control system. By monitoring the supply these tried and proven Foxtam units will provide the “auto restart” signal to reset and restart the control system without the need for a site visit. For added convenience DPCO units are also available with the extra contact used as say a telemetry output to notify an operations centre that an incident has occurred.

Dual setpoint 0.1-10V DC relay. Providing two separately controllable trip levels. With R1 selected as the "High" level and R2 as the "Low" level. When the monitored signal voltage rises above R2 set level R2 relay will energise. If the voltage continues to rise above R1 set level, relay R1 will energise. Conversely as the monitored voltagefalls R1 will de-energise, if the fall continues R2 will de-energise. The unit has a built in fixed hysteresis of 2% at each setpoint to avoid relay "chatter".

A range of Din rail mounted Modular voltage supply monitoring relays available in either single phase or three phase configuration and if three phase a choice of 3 wire or 4 wire. Monitoring phase loss and if applicable Neutral loss, along with under voltage.


Single phase units have a nominal supply of 240VAC and three phase units 415VAC.All units are available either with a fixed under voltage trip level or an adjustable trip level. Fixed tripping levels are 170V for single phase units and 300V for three phase units. If adjustable it is on a calibrated voltage scale of 170-250V for a single phase unit and 300-440V for a three phase unit.


On three phase units both 3 wire or 4 wire phase sequence can be specified as an option. On three phase 4 wire units phase imbalance and Neutral shift can be specified as an option. Phase imbalance is based on voltage amplitude of the phases and is fixed at 15% of imbalance.

Din rail mounted or 8/11 pin plug in DC self powered voltage control relays (no separate auxiliary supply required), available both SPCO and DPCO output. The output relay energises when the voltage rises above the set level controlled via a potentiometer adjustable -20% to +30% of the nominal voltage. The output relay will then de-energise when the voltage falls below the set level less a hysteresis adjustable via a second potentiometer 5 to 25% of the set level. If the total supply is lost de- energisation will also occur. A green LED indicates a voltage is present and a red LED indicates that the output relay is energised.

Adjustable Time Delays - The YWRU.T10 voltage relays have 2 independently adjustable 0.1-10 secs time delays.
