The CS-6xx & SC-6xx range of AC current transducers look like standard current transformers and are used as such. The range is available in standard ring type, or for retro fit projects in split core. Either way both types are Din rail mountable, moulded case and insulated up to 600VAC.

Some of the transducers are dedicated primary ranges, whilst others have selectable primary ranges, selectable via a slider switch or jumpers, like traditional CT’s primary turns can be made to reduce the ratio. Three output options are available, either a 0-5VDC or 0-10VDC output which is self powered. The 4-20mA version is a loop powered output and therefore requires a nominal 24VDC external source to power the loop.

The 675 types are designed to measure complex and distorted wave forms being a TRMS device, they are also ideal for current measurement on the output side of VFD’s, as they have a frequency range of 20-400Hz.
