5 AMP & 1 AMP CURRENT TRANSFORMER SECONDARY, TO 333mVAC CONVERTER

The YxA333mVA is a range of din rail mounting current convertors, which allow the use of traditional 1A and 5A secondary current transformers with 333mVAC input meters.

In application scenarios where the CT’s are sited a distance away from the meter and VA burden within the secondary cabling is an issue, the use of energy meters with 333mVAC inputs for current reference is becoming more common. However the ranges of 333mVAC secondary CT’s remains limited compared to traditional 1A and 5A CT’s. These devices now open up the possibility of using any standard 1A or 5A secondary CT’s.

The YxA333mVA should be positioned as close to the CT as possible.
