MIDLAND JAY - SINGLE PHASE & THREE PHASE SUPPLY MONITORING RELAYS

A range of Din rail mounted Modular voltage supply monitoring relays available in either single phase or three phase configuration and if three phase a choice of 3 wire or 4 wire. Monitoring phase loss and if applicable Neutral loss, along with under voltage.

Single phase units have a nominal supply of 240VAC and three phase units 415VAC. All units are available either with a fixed under voltage trip level or an adjustable trip level. Fixed tripping levels are 170V for single phase units and 300V for three phase units. If adjustable it is on a calibrated voltage scale of 170-250V for a single phase unit and 300-440V for a three phase unit.

On three phase units both 3 wire or 4 wire phase sequence can be specified as an option.

On three phase 4 wire units phase imbalance and Neutral shift can be specified as an option. Phase imbalance is based on voltage amplitude of the phases and is fixed at 15% of imbalance.

All units have an adjustable delay on tripping timer of 0.5-10 secs (not True Delay Off), to ride through short term voltage dips, short term phase loss and if optionally specified phase sequence and phase imbalance errors.

Two LED’s are provided. The green LED illuminates to indicate power is on the unit. The red LED illuminates to indicate the output relay/s is energised. The output relay/s energises when the monitored supply is healthy, that is; all phases and if applicable the Neutral present, if applicable in the correct sequence, the voltage level is within parameters and if applicable within balance.

Standard output contact configuration is SPCO as an option 2NO contacts is available (on request as a special 1NO & 1NC is also possible).
