24VAC/DC POWERED 0-10VDC BMS SINGLE RELAY MODULES

YR 1 RM Product Image

Foxtam Controls have added to their BMS & HVAC offering of innovative solutions with a range of ’fully packaged and enclosed’ 0-10 VDC input BMS single relay modules with a separate 24 VAC/DC auxiliary supply. These modules are fully enclosed in the Foxtam 22.5 mm width DIN rail mounted housing.

Being fully enclosed they are a smart, neater, and safer alternative to the ‘open carrier’ versions offered by other manufacturers. The output relay is powered by the 24 VAC/DC auxiliary supply, the power consumption on the 0-10 VDC input signal is only 0.5 mA max.

4 versions are available, either a fixed 5 VDC setpoint option or an adjustable 2-10 VDC setpoint option. Either of which are also available with a OFF/AUTO/ON override switch. All versions feature LED indication denoting when the output relay is energised, the output contact is a mains voltage rated 8 Amp changeover.

Relay Modules Overview

YR-1RM - FIXED Trip Level, No Manual Override

With a fixed non-adjustable setpoint of 5 VDC at which point the SPCO output relay will energise. The de-energisation point is a fixed hysteresis of 5% (0.25 V), therefore 4.75 VDC.

YR-1RM-A - Adjustable Trip Level, No Manual Override

An adjustable switching point of between 2-10 VDC which is via a potentiometer on the front of the module. On reaching the selected setpoint the SPCO output relay will energise. The de-energisation point is a fixed hysteresis of 5% of the setpoint selected.

YR-1RM-S FIXED Trip Level with Manual Override

Exactly as the YR-1RM but with an OFF/AUTO/ON denoted selector switch. Set to AUTO the module behaves as a YR-1RM. In the ON position the relay output will be forced on even if the DC input signal hasn’t reached 5 VDC. Set to OFF the output relay can be forced to de-energise even if the DC input signal is above 5 VDC.

YR-1RM-AS – Adjustable Trip Level with Manual Override

Same as the YR-1RM-A but with an OFF/AUTO/ON denoted selector switch. Set to AUTO the module behaves as a YR-1RM-A. In the ON position the relay output will be forced on even if the 0-10 VDC input signal hasn’t reached the selected setpoint. Set to OFF the output relay can be forced to de-energise even if the 0-10VDC input signal is above the selected setpoint.

Note: The 24V AC/DC auxiliary supply must be present for the module to always operate for all models.
